THIRTEENTH REGULAR MEETING OF THE 2020-2021 COMMON COUNCIL

Mayor Vandersteen presented a COVID-19 update for Sheboygan County.
Mayor Vandersteen presented a Proclamation declaring the Month of October 2020 as Arts and Humanities Month in the City of Sheboygan and presented it to the leaders of Sheboygan’s Arts and Humanities organizations (pictured below).
Mayor Vandersteen presented reminders for residents:
- Curbside leaf collection will begin Monday, October 12.
- Park shelter and picnic site rentals for 2021 are being accepted.
- Absentee Ballots may be dropped off 24/7 at the new drop box located in the drive thru lane just west of the Mead Public Library.
Council accepted a contribution of $25,000 from the Sheboygan Optimist Club for the purchase of additional playground equipment to be installed at the Optimist Park Playground.
Council consented to Resolution No. 153-20-21 for the assignment of the City’s Agreement with Waste Management to Wisconsin, Inc. for Residential Refuse and Recyclable Material Transfer and Tipping Services to GFL Environmental, Inc.
Council approved Resolution No. 88-20-21 for a final plat for Stonebrook Crossing Addition No. 1 located on South Business Drive.
Council approved Resolution No. 97-20-21 authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute an agreement with GISinc to develop a software tool to allow the Sheboygan Police Department to analyze its data with the City’s ESRI GIS software.
Council approved Resolution No. 91-20-21 authorizing the appropriate City officials to enter into an agreement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sheboygan County, Inc. regarding the Bigs with Badges program.
Council approved Resolution No. 95-20-21 authorizing entering into a Professional Services Agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for a City of Sheboygan Comprehensive Affordable Housing Study.
Council approved Resolution No. 96-20-21 authorizing the appropriate City officials to enter into a contract with Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC for the Sheboygan Five-Year restoration Plan of the shoreline from Lakeview Park north to just south of the Pigeon River.
