Monday, November 21, 2016 at 5:00 pm is the last day to vote for Sheboygan to receive the Levitt AMP grant to fund ten Thursday Summer concerts at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center (JMKAC) next year. The JMKAC is once again partnering with the City of Sheboygan and Sheboygan Squared Business Improvement District to rally votes for a $25,000 grant to support a summer concert series. The online voting campaign for the Levitt AMP 2017 award will end on November 21.
In mid-October, the Arts Center submitted a proposal for funding of the Levitt AMP Sheboygan music series to Levitt Pavilion, a nonprofit organization that funds free concerts across the United States as a means of building community. The Sheboygan proposal was accepted and now requires the support of the community by means of online voting. Online voters will determine the top 25 proposals that will move on to the final round, with Levitt Pavilions selecting the 15 cities to receive a concert grant. Now is the time to vote to bring back the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Concert Series 2017. Voters can sign up to vote online at grant.levittamp.org.
